First Trial! (Mint Julep Mask)

Hey! So for my FIRST TRIAL EVER...I decided to do a prepackaged Mint Julep mask that I found at my local CVS pharmacy/best store ever besides target. ;) So before I applied the mask, I washed my face THOROUGHLY with a cream cleanser and patted it dry. Then, I applied the lovely mask liberally all over my face, giving the area around my mouth about a half inch of clear space and around my eyes about an inch. I waited for about 10 minutes; until the mask was dry, and then rinsed my face, and applied moisturizer. Enjoy the nice tingly feeling! Final results? LOVED it. It made my skin feel softer and gave sort of a glow... Anyway, I loved it! It didn't really help shrink my pores like it said, but other than that I was quite satisfied with the results. The mask I used, and will continue using, is Queen Helene "The Original Minut Julep Masque". Try it out and tell me what 'cha think!

Welcome to Beauty Marks!

Hi!
So this is very exciting-it's my first post! Welcome to my blog :) Beauty Marks is all about dogs, as you may have guessed. Haha, not really. Enjoy the first of my many awful jokes :) Anyway, my blog is dedicated to all the frugal ladies -and guys... I don't judge- who like to look and feel their best. I'll be trying out many new products, home made solutions, and lots of makeup and hair tricks along my journey. Feel free to send me anything you'd like me to try! (with exceptions, of course)
First, I'd like to tell you about myself. I'm 16, going to be a junior, so many times I may be preoccupied with school work and working, so sometimes you may not hear from me often...But I'll try to post as much as I can!
Second, I have combination skin- dry in some spots and normal/oily in others. I don't have acne, but I do breakout occasionally, and of course get the occasional pimple. Or two. Or three... ;D My hair is VERY curly, and somewhat on the dry side. Why am I telling you this? BECAUSE YOU NEED TO KNOW, CRAZY! I'm telling you this so you know that what I may be trying is for my skin or hair type, so it may or may not work for you. I'll always tell you if what I'm trying will irritate your skin which, more often than not, won't happen since my skin is pretty sensitive and I wouldn't want to irritate it, thank you. So stay updated and enjoy my blog!
